The Neuro Marketing Specialist will assist in the strategizing, creation, and implementation of ongoing marketing initiatives for products developed by Penumbra and its affiliates, ensuring alignment with the overarching corporate objectives.


This role entails delivering product and market intelligence that will guide promotional campaigns and messaging strategies.

To excel in this position, the specialist should be adept at processing and interpreting diverse data sets.

The specialist will play a crucial role in directing our marketing endeavors and campaigns towards areas that will significantly benefit our customer base.


Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive North American social media strategy for Penumbra Neuro, encompassing competitive and clinical dialogue monitoring, proactive and reactive messaging design, and collaboration with the events team, while also providing support for global strategy initiatives.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy for conferences and society meetings, including gathering information for society support levels, crafting meeting messaging, planning customer engagement, managing social media, organizing third-party events, and coordinating Penumbra team involvement and communication.
  • Support product marketing teams in developing new marketing materials, sales support tools, and videos that effectively showcase and promote the designated product line to its clientele.
  • Relay customer and product insights, segmentation, and other findings to stakeholders, including product marketing and sales teams, as well as corporate strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify factors influencing marketing performance, shaping current and future campaigns.
  • Generate and disseminate key strategic insights through data analysis and visualization techniques.
  • Perform competitive research and analyze benchmarking data.
  • Execute market research aimed at identifying new opportunities, prioritizing market launch schedules based on geographic and local market conditions.
  • Simplify complex concepts and information into clear, actionable recommendations and findings.
  • Comply with the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) and adhere to domestic and international quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Understand and follow relevant security, privacy, and compliance principles, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures among team members.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and analytics software (such as Tableau, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills are preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard office applications is required.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively via audio/video conferencing.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to engage professionally with team members and customers (both internal and external).
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining project timelines with regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Must possess creativity, self-motivation, teamwork orientation, proactivity, intuition, organization, collaboration, and flexibility.
Working Environment

  • Standard office setting.
  • May require business travel exceeding 50% (domestic and international), including weekends.
  • Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to navigate between buildings and floors.
  • Must be capable of remaining stationary and utilizing a computer or other standard office equipment for extended periods.
  • Must be able to read, compose emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets.
  • Must be able to move within the office and access files or supplies as necessary.
  • Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
Starting Base Salary is $72,207/year - $89,708/year.

Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as performance, skill level, competencies, work location, and shift.
