Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Actalent, you will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical designs and 3D models that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your expertise in mechanical design and engineering will be essential in ensuring that our clients' products meet the required specifications and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform part decomposition, design updates, and assembly integration for complex systems.
  • Interface with electrical engineering teams to ensure design compatibility.
  • Conduct stress and structural analyses to confirm material suitability under environmental conditions.
  • Perform trade-off analyses and validate designs against quality standards.
  • Execute final functional testing and compliance assessments.
  • Select materials and classify components based on industry standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors to source materials and components.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation.
  • Ensure designs align with industry standards for marking and traceability.
  • Lead design reviews and integrate cross-functional feedback.
  • Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly teams.

Requirements:
  • CAD software skills (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo).
  • Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS Mechanical) skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (MIL-STD-810, SAE standards).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
