About the Role

This is a mechanical HVAC service and repair position with Johnson Controls International, a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical equipment service and repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Respond to basic calls for service and keep stakeholders informed of job progress and issues.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled in an HVAC certificate program.
  • Familiarity with HVAC equipment (residential or light commercial).
  • Ability to perform general building maintenance.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Willingness to supplement on-the-job training.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HVAC-related applications and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPA Refrigeration certification.
