This is a full-time, year-round role within the Millard Public Schools system, specifically at Millard South High School. The position entails working four evenings a week, with shifts available from Monday to Thursday or Sunday to Wednesday, both from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities

The custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff. Duties include:

  • Performing routine cleaning tasks in various areas such as classrooms, cafeterias, restrooms, and hallways.
  • Utilizing mechanical cleaning equipment and ensuring proper maintenance of these tools.
  • Managing waste disposal and maintaining outdoor areas, including playgrounds and sidewalks.
  • Executing floor care tasks including mopping, vacuuming, and waxing.
  • Replacing light bulbs and reporting maintenance needs to supervisors.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in custodial work within an educational setting is preferred. The role requires:

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
