We specialize in the treatment of traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs), and other neuro or complex orthopedic conditions in the most practical environment - the patient's own home and community.


We are seeking skilled Therapeutic Recreation Specialists who are passionate about providing truly patient-centered care in the Fort Worth, TX area, with flexible PRN positions available for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Our multidisciplinary teams develop cohesive treatment plans that are implemented in the patients' homes and communities.

Our therapists utilize innovative methods and a diverse range of activities to foster engagement while targeting functional objectives.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Conducting evaluations, providing treatment, and educating neuro-rehabilitation patients, which encompasses planning, organizing, and coordinating recreational activities, functional leisure skills, and leisure education.

Assessing capabilities, interests, and barriers. Monitoring progress and suggesting adjustments to programs as necessary. Performing home assessments and assisting patients with their transition back to home and community.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation and CTRS certification are mandatory. Experience in treating neurologically related disorders is highly preferred. Strong planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills are essential. Effective communication with families, professionals, and colleagues is required.
