We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Group Home Supervisor to join our team at RHA Health Services. As a key member of our residential program, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of Direct Support employees, managing the operations of 1-3 facility/facilities, and leading the work of Direct Support Associates.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate activities of Direct Support employees
- Manage operations of 1-3 facility/facilities providing Non-ICF services
- Lead and direct the work of Direct Support Associates
- Work closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback
- Standardize procedures and expedite the implementation of person-centered plans
- Monitor and provide feedback to staff on interactions and relationships with people supported
- Provide audits for medication administration
- Resolve employee issues and conduct performance reviews
- Ensure employees meet training requirements and attend required events
- Monitor select budget items and stay within guidelines
- Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed
- Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs. and provide CPR after certification
- CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Regularly required to lift 30 lbs.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
- Must be able to pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
- Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Required to regularly stand and walk.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
- Must be able to talk and hear.
