Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Group Home Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Direct Support staff.
  • Manage the operations of 1-3 facilities providing Non-ICF services.
  • Lead and direct the work of Direct Support Associates.
  • Maintain communication with clinical and professional healthcare teams to standardize procedures and implement person-centered plans.
  • Monitor staff interactions and relationships with residents across all shifts, ensuring a harmonious environment.
  • Conduct audits for medication administration.
  • Address employee concerns and perform performance evaluations.
  • Ensure staff meet training requirements and participate in necessary events.
  • Oversee budget monitoring and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support as part of the direct care rotation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for on-call duties.
  • Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs. and provide CPR after certification.
  • CPR, first aid, NCI, and/or MedTech certification is a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to lift 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
  • Regular use of hands for handling objects and tools.
  • Required to stand and walk frequently.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
