Job Responsibilities:
- Enhance understanding of the interaction between construction and design teams, particularly in mechanical design.
- Undertake various tasks, including document preparation and monitoring; collaborate closely with Process Engineers to develop designs and troubleshoot issues.
- Engage in project strategy discussions within your discipline and gain exposure to design concepts, pricing, and proposal requirements.
- Participate in design research and other assigned activities.
- Network with other interns as part of the comprehensive Summer Internship Program.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Education/Experience:
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or a related Engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Familiarity with CAD / Revit design software is preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications:
- Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:


While executing the responsibilities of this role, the position requires ordinary mobility skills to visit various locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and handle light to medium weights ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.

Good hand-eye coordination, along with dexterity in arms, hands, and fingers, is essential, including the ability to grasp and visual acuity for using a keyboard, operating equipment, and reading application/form information.

The associate frequently needs to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
