The company markets its products under various well-known brands, with vehicles utilized in diverse settings, including golf courses, factories, airports, planned communities, theme parks, and hunting preserves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and implement truckload, LTL, intermodal, and international shipments of vehicles to customers, branches, distributors, and dealers, aligning with Textron Specialized Vehicles' logistics, financial, and customer service objectives.
- Utilize Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enhance the efficient use of outbound transportation resources.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to schedule shipments, minimizing detention charges and dry-run costs incurred by the organization.
- Prepare comprehensive international documentation concerning hazardous materials, commercial invoicing, and all necessary international declarations.
- Maximize resource utilization by ensuring efficient container loading and coordinating available backhauls of used vehicles.
- Oversee relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers, ensuring an adequate number of carriers to meet shipment demands.
- Guarantee timely and complete deliveries while effectively communicating updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate schedules, crating requirements, and shipment preparations with logistics warehouse and shipping personnel.
- Provide detailed daily updates to all relevant internal stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Sales & Marketing, or a related field is required.
Experience:
P1: 0-2 Years of Experience required / P2: 3 or more years of experience required.
Software Knowledge:
SAP preferred.
