Quality Assurance Specialist

Textron Specialized Vehicles is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes. This includes conducting field audits and vendor evaluations, investigating manufacturing or field issues, and maintaining implemented standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
Responsibilities
Conduct field audits and vendor evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards
Investigate manufacturing or field issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Maintain implemented standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
Monitor and communicate key supply chain KPIs, including parts per million (PPM), line disruptions, and days to close non-conforming material tickets (NCMT)
Facilitate the deployment of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to quality issues and customer complaints
Interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables
Provide technical support and information to other departments, vendors, and customers as requested
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required
10 or more years of technical experience in lieu of degree
Microsoft Office Applications, CAD, ERP/MRP preferred
Ability to read part/assembly blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
