Nurse Care Specialist for Cardiac ICU

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a CVICU nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to patients recovering from open-heart surgery and other cardiac conditions.

About the Role:

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a reputable healthcare facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina. You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care CVICU setting and possess active RN licensure, BLS & ACLS certifications, and a degree from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and vital signs
  • Monitor patient conditions and alert doctors to any changes
  • Serve as a liaison between doctors and patients
  • Educate patients' families on ongoing needs and care
