Position Overview

Salary: $26.00/hour starting (based on experience)

Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Clinical Director and may be assigned to various departments including Direct Service, Day Treatment, Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Substance Use Disorder Services, and Group Therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling and guidance to individuals or groups facing behavioral health challenges.
  • Design and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Set treatment objectives and benchmarks in collaboration with clients.
  • Draft progress reports and correspondence for relevant stakeholders.
  • Educate families and groups on treatment methodologies and preventive strategies.
  • Facilitate referrals to additional healthcare or counseling professionals as necessary.
  • Maintain precise and Medicaid-compliant documentation.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in case management, social work, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
  • Proficient in completing Medicaid billable progress notes.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution techniques.
  • Exhibit a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
  • Able to establish rapport with clients effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Knowledgeable in DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
  • Experience in conducting Diagnostic Assessments and treatment planning.
  • Possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license with fewer than 4 points, and appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Minimum educational requirement of a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW).
  • Must hold a Master’s degree in a licensable discipline.
  • Required licensure includes LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, LISW-S, or LPCC-S.
