Job Summary

The Senior Admission Counselor contributes to the fulfillment of the University's mission and vision by serving as a territory/population manager for a specified recruitment region/focus. This role involves researching assigned territories/populations to plan and facilitate strategies to attract potential students to apply to the University.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication, or a related field, and a minimum of two years of recruiting or relevant admission-related experience. Proficiency in MS Office, Banner, Recruit, and Imaging Software is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze data to determine high schools, community colleges, cities, and fairs to recruit in
  • Identify prospective students who meet the University of Toledo student profile and build relationships with major influencers
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract potential students to apply to the University
  • Provide assistance to individual students with regard to the admission process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of recruiting or relevant admission-related experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Demonstrated networking abilities
  • Sales, marketing, and public speaking experience preferred
