Position Overview:

The Corporate Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily financial operations of the organization. This position is responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing account balances, ensuring tax compliance, and recommending improvements to accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily functions of accounts payable, accounts receivable, capital assets, and general ledger to promote service excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the month-end closing process and consolidation of financial results, ensuring accuracy in journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and communicate precise financial records that reflect the company's financial status, including consolidated profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for the consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statements to support budgeting and long-term planning.
  • Act as the primary liaison with banking institutions, managing foreign currency transactions and optimizing banking services.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure comprehensive tax compliance and manage quarterly estimates and year-end provisions.
  • Oversee credit management activities, including credit limit assessments and bad debt reserves, while analyzing accounts receivable aging.
  • Facilitate annual audit preparations and documentation with external auditors to ensure timely issuance of the audited financial report.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's ERP financial system and ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other financial regulations, while monitoring changes in GAAP.
  • Manage the accounting team, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Support the budgeting process as directed by senior finance leadership.
  • Assist with additional projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or credit collections.
  • Proven ability to effectively supervise and manage multiple tasks and personnel.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
