**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining control over inventories, ensuring they are secured, properly identified, and readily accessible to authorized personnel at our distribution location.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile results with inventory records.
- Ensure quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct to maintain accurate physical inventories and keep accurate records of inventories.
- Conduct analyses of inventory levels and coordinate with production and sales orders and forecasts.
- Operate a forklift in maintaining inventory position.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
- Follow safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience.
- Ability to perform duties in a warehouse operations environment with some physical exertion, both inside and outside work in all weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Typically more than five (5) years of experience in a related job function.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to interface well with customers.
- Solid understanding of all RFN functions.
- Requires knowledge of operation of office equipment (i.e., calculator, computer) and proficiency in utilizing computer software applications necessary for performing job responsibilities, including working knowledge of Excel and Agility.
- Ability to understand and apply fundamental mathematical calculations.
- Effective communication skills and demonstrated decision-making ability and organizational skills.
