Collision Repair Technician

At Hendrick Automotive Company, we are seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our team at the Hendrick Collision Center Hwy 55 Durham location.
Job Summary:The Collision Repair Technician will be responsible for identifying and performing necessary body repair work in accordance with factory and Collision Center specifications. This includes examining body damage on customer vehicles, identifying necessary body repair work, estimating cost of body work, requesting necessary parts, and performing body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine body damage on customer vehicles and identify necessary body repair work
- Estimate cost of body work and request necessary parts
- Perform body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelines
- Document repairs performed and maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
- Participate in required training and maintain CSI at or above Company standards
- Demonstrable knowledge of body repair methods and Collision Center repair training or commensurate experience
- Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform Collision Center repair functions
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system
The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. The employee will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with customers, Estimators, and Collision Center management.
