Radiologic Technologist Clinic Specialist

As a Radiologic Technologist Clinic Specialist at Allina Health, you will perform technical and diagnostic imaging functions under the direction of a provider or radiologist. Your primary responsibility will be to provide timely and quality services to patients, interacting with them to welcome, explain, and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders, regulatory requirements, and department guidelines.
• Rooms patients and manages patient flow, identifying patients with two identifiers and documenting all necessary aspects of the procedure.
• Observes and communicates with patients, responding to their needs and maintaining a safe patient environment in the procedure area.
• Performs procedures with a high degree of accuracy, demonstrating knowledge of all diagnostic equipment and gathering relevant information to assist in image interpretation.
• Verifies that all imaging has been appropriately transferred to the imaging storage and retrieval system.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• 0-2 years of experience in Radiology preferred.
• Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire.
