Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the construction contract for a large-scale project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of the construction contract, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Coordination with design teams to resolve design issues and ensure timely completion of project work.
  • Review and process Request-for-Information and Information-Bulletins.
  • Oversee safety and security of the site, ensuring compliance with the project-specific construction management plan.
  • Track contractor submittals and monitor contractor's schedule in Primavera P6.
  • Hold monthly scheduling meetings and review contractor's payment applications.
  • Assess impact of change requests or delays on the project schedule and budget.
  • Monitor contractor's performance and ensure compliance with the project-specific construction management plan.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a role of Project Manager responsible for large-scale projects valued above $10 million.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects using established controls and procedures.
  • Valid drivers' license, dependable transportation, and ability to travel as needed.
  • Proficient with web-based submittal collaboration system and project scheduling software (Preferably Oracle Primavera).
  • Cost estimating/negotiating experience and knowledge of the Uniform Building Code.
