About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. As a member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring (L&D)
  • Certification in nursing administration, management, or specialty area as approved by American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Magnet within 6 months (180 days) of hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
