As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for performing various duties including administering medications, providing specialized nursing care, and assisting physicians with examinations and treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and perform routine nursing procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Provide specialized nursing care to acutely ill patients, including monitoring their condition and identifying changes in their health status.
  • Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and minor surgery.
  • Teach and promote general preventive health measures to patients and their families.
  • Record pertinent information in patients' medical charts and maintain accurate records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

A minimum of 400 clock hours of faculty-planned clinical experience and guided learning activities is required. You must also be licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Colorado.

Salary and Benefits
