Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly review credentialing documentation and collaborate with candidates and cross-functional teams to address any missing, incomplete, or expiring items.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all candidates undergoing the credentialing and onboarding procedures.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at streamlining the onboarding process to reduce processing time.
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external candidates through email and phone correspondence.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards for state and federal programs.
  • Develop criteria and workflows for candidates to fulfill state and federal requirements for system access.
  • Identify and propose enhancements to workflows and processes to boost accuracy and efficiency.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for daily data entry, function building, sorting, and filtering large datasets, and generate data-driven reports as needed.
  • Safeguard confidential records and sensitive information, including security details, personnel contacts, background check submissions, and employer data.
  • Employ Microsoft Outlook for daily administrative tasks.
  • Engage in collaborative meetings and may act as a point of contact for specific programs or platforms.
  • Assist in the regular internal and external audits of records.
  • Embrace the concept of continuous improvement to acquire new skills in response to evolving initiatives.
  • Comply with all company and departmental policies regarding security and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical abilities to compile, assemble, and report on data records.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • High self-motivation and energy, capable of working independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication capabilities.
  • Ability to cultivate working relationships with leadership and other key contacts.
  • Capacity to support multiple team members and projects simultaneously while prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe and/or FoxIt PDF, along with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing.
  • A Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred.
