Sales Representative for Building Materials

At GPAC, we are looking to hire a seasoned Sales Representative to join our team in the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in wholesale distribution and a strong knowledge of lumber, building materials, concrete, roofing, and/or precast.

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting sales targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer and contractor sites. They will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and maintain professionalism, integrity, passion, and top-notch communication skills.

This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and improve sales performance
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, products, and services to provide expert advice to customers
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track sales performance and customer interactions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in wholesale distribution
  • Strong knowledge of building materials, including lumber, concrete, roofing, and precast
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
  • Results-driven and motivated individual with a strong work ethic
