Minimal Qualifications:

  • Valid cosmetology or barber license as mandated by state/provincial regulations
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, accurately assessing client needs, providing quality consultations, and executing requested services efficiently and professionally
  • Capability to perform administrative duties such as processing transactions on the computerized register, completing closing procedures, and maintaining cleanliness

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Frequent lifting of items up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds
  • Continuous repetitive movements involving fingers, hands, wrists, and arms
  • Ongoing grasping and reaching, often above shoulder height
  • Exposure to various chemicals and fragrances used in service delivery
  • Ability to observe clients' hair, including close vision, color differentiation, and focus adjustment
  • Proficient communication skills to discuss services and understand client preferences
