We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Developer to join our Opportunity To Cash (OTC) IT Team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will partner with business stakeholders to analyze, define, and implement applications that drive transformation for our users.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business users to understand business processes and requirements, translating them into application requirements.
- Develop and implement system solutions that improve efficiencies, maximize customer experience, and grow and retain business.
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned systems, providing application enhancements, maintenance, and support.
- Ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-specification delivery of software solutions.
- Be involved in solution design, conduct code reviews, and mentor new developers.
- Manage risks associated with program implementation and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate with business users at all levels of the organization and provide 2nd-level support/technical expertise.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and at least 5 years of web development and object-oriented programming work experience (.NET/C#).
- Experience in software development and testing using Agile methodology with remote teams.
- Experience writing unit tests and robust, maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices.
- Database & SQL Experience (Oracle preferred).
- Experience in an object-oriented programming language; C#/.NET, Typescript/Angular, HTML, web services, JSON, XML.
- Understanding of software development & deployment process, including CI/CD.
