Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can provide administrative support to our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing exam rooms, prepping patient charts, and collecting and documenting patient information.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare exam rooms for use, including disinfecting and stocking
- Prep patient charts with pre-visit planning, reviewing schedules and identifying gaps in care
- Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, allergies, and medication lists
- Escort patients to exam rooms and direct patient flow for maximum efficiency
- Collect and process laboratory specimens for on-site and remote-site testing
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or 3+ years documented medical assistant experience
- BCLS training and current certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
