Position Overview

The Nutritional Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering a balanced and economically viable food services program tailored to meet the dietary needs of students while adhering to all relevant local nutrition regulations. This position leverages specialized training and mandated nutritional standards to create effective menu strategies that promote healthy eating habits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designs menus that align with Aramark's established guidelines.
  • Conducts regular visits to school dining facilities.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of recipes, menu production, and food service management protocols.
  • Performs nutrient analysis for all menu items.
  • Provides education to clients and consumers on healthy food selections through training sessions and community outreach initiatives.
  • Facilitates training for new staff members.
  • Collaborates with management and supervisory teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality food services.

Qualifications
  • Preferred prior experience in a relevant field.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with coursework recognized by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies.
  • Must obtain and maintain necessary certifications, registrations, licenses, and continuing education as required by local accrediting bodies.
  • Eligibility to practice dietetics in the applicable geographic area.
  • Exemplary customer service skills, fostering a friendly and efficient environment for clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to inspire a positive work ethic among team members.
