Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Team Lead to join our Oncology team. As a RN Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising nurses, providing patient care, and ensuring patient health through the nursing process. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to staff, patients, friends, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise nurses and provide guidance on patient care
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure patient health
  • Provide physical and psychological support to staff, patients, friends, and families
  • Manage patient assignments and ensure adequate staffing
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Active unrestricted RN license in the State of Nevada
  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within 6 months of hire
  • Experience hanging chemo, pre-meds, and IV treatments
  • Expert in Vascular Access, patient assessment, chemo regimens, and understanding of safe patient parameters for receipt of treatment
  • Proven solid written/verbal communication skills
  • Proven demonstrates solid clinical and people skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • OCN certification
  • BLS certification
  • 2+ years of Oncology experience

Nevada Residents Only:

The hourly range for Nevada residents is $32.60 to $63.99. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
