Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including shift supervision and mentoring
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Provide support and guidance to nursing staff in their professional development

Requirements:

  • Active unrestricted RN license in the State of Nevada
  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within 6 months of hire
  • Experience hanging chemo, pre-meds and IV treatments
  • Expert in Vascular Access, patient assessment, chemo regimens and understanding of safe patient parameters for receipt of treatment
  • Proven solid written/verbal communication skills
  • Proven demonstrates solid clinical and people skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • OCN certification
  • BLS certification
  • 2+ years of Oncology experience

Working Conditions:

No restrictions on standing, lifting 25#, walking, pushing, pulling in a patient care setting or perform these tasks with reasonable accommodation
