We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Centura Health Corporation - 340 Peak One Dr , St. Anthony Summit Hospital. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality patient care and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and CT scans.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, and share knowledge with colleagues to enhance patient care.
- Knowledge of diagnostic imaging principles and practices.
- Previous experience as a radiologic technologist or in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
