The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Radiology Department is a key role within Baylor Scott & White Health, performing high-quality radiology procedures to aid in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.
### Essential Functions
* Performs radiology procedures according to established protocols and guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely results.
* Maintains production and quality of imaging procedures by adhering to established standards and procedures.
* Utilizes effective communication skills to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort throughout the procedure.
* Prepares patients and equipment for procedures, utilizing proper sterile techniques and adhering to safety protocols.
* Maintains equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards, ensuring optimal operational capabilities.
* Reports any issues or concerns to management or appropriate departments, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

### Education and Certification
* ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) certification is required for this role.
* Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field is preferred.
