Job Title: Project Coordinator

At Orion Energy Systems, Inc., we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Voltrek team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the transition of projects from sales to execution, ensuring effective communication and adherence to timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and facilitate project handoff meetings to ensure comprehensive communication and smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and construction contractors to determine specifications for EV charging station projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure jobs are scheduled appropriately and pertinent information is communicated.
  • Assist with project closeouts, submit grant paperwork, and provide exceptional customer experience.
  • Monitor and maintain real-time updates on project status, proactively following up with project managers as necessary.
  • Thoroughly review contracts for accuracy and completeness before transitioning them to active project status.
  • Maintain CRM database to reflect project progress and develop a comprehensive project management tracking spreadsheet.
  • Coordinate stock releases and manage inventory assignment to projects.
  • Review, prepare, and organize invoices and purchase orders for thorough review and approval.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project coordination or related roles, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software for tracking and monitoring project status.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to review contracts and financial documents with precision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Experience using spreadsheets and Word-processing applications.
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce).
