Customer Service Representative Job Description

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve Customer Complaints: Effectively resolve customer complaints and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide Accurate Information: Provide accurate and complete information to customers to help them make informed decisions.
  • Maintain Customer Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and update customer information in our database.
  • Conduct Customer Surveys: Conduct customer satisfaction surveys to measure the level of customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Customer Orders: Process customer orders and follow up with customers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with product knowledge and company policies and procedures.
  • Escalate Issues: Identify and escalate customer issues that require urgent attention to the relevant department.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Financial Management: Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and customer service software.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Education:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
