Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately input financial transactions into our accounting software, ensuring all entries are properly categorized and documented.
  • Prepare and manage bank deposits, general ledger entries, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy before final processing.
  • Handle incoming payments and outgoing disbursements, adhering to established financial policies.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in invoices, conducting thorough research to resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee and update company expense reports, addressing any inconsistencies as necessary.
  • Process reimbursement requests, ensuring all documentation is complete and approved prior to payment.
  • Assist in the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual audits, as well as the preparation of tax documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and legal regulations.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of both digital and physical financial records.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the finance department.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping is essential.
  • Prior roles in accounting support, bookkeeping, or financial management are highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standard bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficient in finance and tax regulations.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to identify numerical discrepancies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret standard accounting reports effectively.
  • Capacity to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
