Key Responsibilities- Accurately input financial transactions into our accounting software, ensuring all entries are properly categorized and documented.
- Prepare and manage bank deposits, general ledger entries, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy before final processing.
- Handle incoming payments and outgoing disbursements, adhering to established financial policies.
- Reconcile discrepancies in invoices, conducting thorough research to resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee and update company expense reports, addressing any inconsistencies as necessary.
- Process reimbursement requests, ensuring all documentation is complete and approved prior to payment.
- Assist in the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual audits, as well as the preparation of tax documentation.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and legal regulations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of both digital and physical financial records.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the finance department.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping is essential.
- Prior roles in accounting support, bookkeeping, or financial management are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standard bookkeeping practices.
- Proficient in finance and tax regulations.
- Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to identify numerical discrepancies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret standard accounting reports effectively.
- Capacity to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
