Job Summary

MedStar Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate diagnostic equipment and produce high-quality CT images for medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Patients for Scans: Review patient records, position patients on the scan table, and administer contrast media according to protocols.
  • Operate Diagnostic Equipment: Enter patient and exam data into the x-ray computer system, perform computed scan images, and prepare reports.
  • Assist Radiologists: Inform radiologists of scan results, assist with interventional procedures, and schedule patient exams.
  • Maintain a Clean Environment: Clean and maintain an aseptic working environment for each patient, and ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Train and Orient New Employees: Assist in the training and orientation of new employees and students.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate degree or one to three years of formal training in Radiologic Technology.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) registration and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Compensation:

This position has a hiring range of $34.98 - $59.26.
