We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Hospitalist to join our team at Pediatrix Medical Group in San Francisco. As a Neonatal Hospitalist, you will provide high-quality patient care to newborns and their families in our state-of-the-art NICU facilities.
Responsibilities
• Provide neonatal in-patient care, attending deliveries, and night coverage in our 35-bed level III NICU at California Pacific Medical Center and level II NICU at Mills Peninsula Hospital.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for newborns, collaborating with neonatologists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Perform various medical procedures, including IV insertion, arterial and lumbar puncture, bladder catheterization, and intubation, with proficiency and precision.
Requirements
• Board-certified or board-eligible pediatrician with a strong background in neonatology.
• Active California medical license and ability to obtain hospital privileges at our facilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
