Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at Jackmont Hospitality. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience, and leading a team of hospitality professionals to achieve our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shift Operations
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during scheduled shifts, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
    • Ensure that all restaurant areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Team Management
    • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of hospitality professionals to achieve our high standards.
    • Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to team members to improve performance and job satisfaction.
    • Conduct pre-screen interviews for new team members and ensure that all new hires complete their training and validation programs.
  • Guest Experience
    • Ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
    • Monitor and address any guest complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit end-of-shift reports, including sales data, inventory levels, and staff performance metrics.
    • Manage cash handling procedures, including assigning bartender drawers and performing checkouts of servers and bartenders.
Requirements
  • One year of external restaurant experience with a college degree preferred.
  • Must be capable of performing all functions and meeting qualification standards for all hourly positions.
  • Ability to complete TGI Friday's Hourly Shift Supervisor Training and Validation.
