Position Summary:

The Security Officer will perform dedicated security services for various locations, ensuring that all access points are secured and that the safety of property and individuals is maintained with a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities include adhering to site-specific instructions and fulfilling additional duties as outlined in the site’s Post Orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dedicated services that reflect the company's standards and site-specific instructions.
  • Document detailed reports using company technology during each shift.
  • Arrive punctually for shifts and adhere to dress code and appearance standards.
  • Engage with clients and team members to cultivate a positive service relationship.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any relevant information or concerns.
  • Care for assigned equipment, including radios and access devices.
  • Resolve issues through professional communication.
  • Meet performance benchmarks as set by the supervisor.
  • Relay information to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Complete training modules within the first month of employment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Commitment to service and professionalism is required.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must possess a valid Maryland Guard Card.
