We have partnered with a leading non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. The team seeks a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Reporting Specialist to join their finance and accounting team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
  • Experience with Sage highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices for services rendered, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and organizational policies.
  • Handle billing for all government contracts, create bills, and input donations and payments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and work with clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and account activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal controls.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and resolve any discrepancies between recorded and actual amounts.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable, including aging reports and collection forecasts, and present findings to management.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, standards, and organizational policies.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
