Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at St Marys Cement U.S. as a key member of our organization. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the coal combustion residuals (CCR) industry in support of our cement footprint and value-creating business model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners within the CCR industry, creating clear business strategies for key accounts.
- Support SCMs Program: Participate in the development of strategic materials (SCMs) within our product portfolio, working closely with internal personnel across sales, distribution, and product development.
- Industry Knowledge and Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry news, trends, and technologies related to CCR treatment and beneficiation, as well as other technologies that can expand CCR utilization and enhance our portfolio of opportunities.
- Project Management: Manage internal and external resources to develop projects according to defined plans, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Sustainability and Safety: Support the sustainability theme with internal and external stakeholders related to the CCR industry and our company's vision, while maintaining a safe workplace and striving for zero occupational injuries, accidents, and environmental incidents.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, science, or engineering.
- Experience: Proven track record in the CCR industry, preferably from experience in power or utilities industries.
- Skills: Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and project management skills.
- Travel Requirements: Some travel required at times, crossing the Canada/United States border and overnight stays.
