Capacity Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capacity Sales Manager to join our team at Nova Lines. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling truck capacity to shippers and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a sales strategy to sell truck capacity to shippers, focusing on maximizing revenue and market share.
- Identify and target potential clients within the industry, leveraging market intelligence and industry networks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, understanding their unique needs and providing customized transportation solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring acceptable terms for both parties.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and management, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Nova Lines and expand business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales within the transportation, logistics, or trucking industry.
- Strong knowledge of truck capacity sales and transportation solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other systems such as Carrier Source or ZoomInfo.
