Position:
Manufacturing Assembly Specialist (2nd Shift)
Overview:
The Manufacturing Assembly Specialist is tasked with all aspects of part assembly, bonding, testing, and screening, a role that necessitates manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency to assemble and repair components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all assembly, bonding, testing, and screening in accordance with part specifications.
- Utilize small hand tools as necessary for the tasks.
- Follow specific work instructions for assemblies.
- Work in an environment with odors associated with plastic epoxies and resins used in bonding.
- Complete all documentation accurately and neatly.
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with blueprints using appropriate measuring equipment.
- Seek opportunities to enhance skills within the department and across other areas.
- Assist production with additional tasks as required.
- Conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner, consistently adhering to Tri-Mack Values.
- Comply with all AS9100 requirements as outlined in work instructions and by supervisors.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints, with prior experience using measuring tools.
- Familiarity with and manual dexterity in using small hand tools for critical components with tight tolerances.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and understand production demands.
- Comfortable addressing technical issues, applying previous technical experience to resolve problems.
- Dependable, able to collaborate effectively with others, and capable of working independently.
