CNC Machinist Job Summary

CET is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in machine shop operations, including manual mills and lathes, as well as CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate CNC machines with minimal assistance
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Inspect product using visual and hand inspection equipment
  • Adhere to quality management system in accordance with ISO standards

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of machine shop experience
  • Vocational trades school, high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of composite production and manufacturing processes
  • Certificate in machine shop technology or machine tool technology/machinist
  • Experience in mechanical assembly

Work Environment:

This position requires time spent on the shop floor and exposure to shop elements, including noise, moving parts, dust, and fumes.
