Clinical Nurse Supervisor

At Inova, we are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor. This is a key leadership role that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The LPN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures, and protocols. This includes supervising clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and assist team members in assigned functional areas, ensuring that the team is meeting key deliverables and quality standards.
- Manage patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team.
- Utilize standards, guidelines, policies, procedures, and clinical pathways for delivery of care.
- Improve clinical operations through utilization of data and the quality process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1 year of nursing or related healthcare experience.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
- BLS Certification (from the American Heart Association).
- Eligible for licensing in the commonwealth of Virginia as a LPN.
- Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
