Clinical Nurse Practitioner

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide a full range of nursing services within the framework of established professional standards. This role will work collaboratively with support staff and under the medical direction of the physician.
Job Specifications- A graduate from a School of Licensed Practical Nursing and currently licensed in the state of Illinois as a LPN.
- Required to have a current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
The LPN must have knowledge of the following:
- Current clinical practices commonly implemented by the family practice nurse.
- Medical terminology.
- Service Organization and office policies and procedures.
- All technical equipment used.
- Use of personal protective equipment in compliance with DCD and OSHA guidelines.
- Rules and regulations concerning child abuse reporting and guardianship.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to:
- Express thoughts in clear and concise terms, both verbal and written.
- Adapt and prioritize during high volume periods.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Use tact, courtesy, and diplomacy when dealing with employees, supervisors, doctors, patients, insurance companies, and the general public.
- Work with a variety of patients of all populations.
