Job Summary:
Health Advocates Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a correctional facility in Colorado. The successful candidate will provide general nursing care to patients, administer prescribed medications, and prepare equipment for treatments and examinations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide general nursing care to patients
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during treatments and examinations
• Observe patient, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents
Requirements:
• At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Valid and current RN license issued by the State of CO
• Valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
• Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients
