Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound evaluations and services using state-of-the-art echo modalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cardiac ultrasound evaluations and services using advanced echo modalities
  • Provide high-quality images and reports to support patient care and diagnosis
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in science or Allied Health Field (Nursing, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technologist, etc.) or a minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Echo Sonographer and a HS diploma or equivalent
  • Active, unrestricted Oregon license prior to providing any services in Oregon
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Experience in M-mode, 2D Imaging, Color Doppler, and/or Contrast Echoes
