The company focuses on three primary service areas: Commercial Janitorial Services, Unarmed Security Patrols, and Comprehensive Facility Maintenance Solutions.

Position Overview: NSG, Inc. is currently looking for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Specialist responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment and building systems across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in facility maintenance trades, demonstrate solid technical knowledge, and exhibit a meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance activities including the repair of door hardware, painting, drywall installation, ceiling tile replacement, filter changes, belt replacements, coil cleaning, general plumbing tasks, and assisting with electrical system troubleshooting, including wiring, outlets, lighting, pumps, and valves.
  • Verify and ensure the operational integrity of multiple safety systems.
  • Record settings and readings accurately.
  • Exhibit strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Work independently while effectively planning ahead.
  • Utilize a company vehicle to travel to various locations.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Self-motivated individual with a results-driven mindset.
  • Fundamental knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and understand schematics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity are essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program is a significant advantage.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial maintenance or construction, or relevant on-the-job training in areas such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week).
  • Participation in an on-call rotation (1 week per month).

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage ranging from $28 to $31.
  • Weekly pay every Friday.
