Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier operations by effectively planning and executing development builds and new product introductions to guarantee part availability and maintain high quality standards.
- Facilitate ramp readiness with suppliers by assessing design status, component availability, equipment readiness, staffing, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate across various teams including product engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance to support ramp readiness and manage critical project gates.
- Clearly communicate project status and risks to internal stakeholders, highlighting key issues and proposing solutions.
- Assist engineering and supply chain teams in risk management by balancing testing milestones with essential kickoff dates.
- Coordinate material requirement dates with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries within the supply chain.
- Support supplier communication regarding supply and delivery plans to sub-tier suppliers.
- Influence design and manufacturing processes to enhance overall project success.
- Oversee the risk release process for tooling and components prior to official release.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in hardware supply chain, manufacturing, or project management.
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments, process engineering, or product development.
- Exceptional project management capabilities, including effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with various program management methodologies and tools to lead cross-functional projects.
- Strong analytical and planning skills to assess projects of diverse scope.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence at all organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
