Job Title: Alternative Delivery Roadway Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Alternative Delivery Roadway Engineer to join our team at Trilon Group. As a key member of our infrastructure consulting firm, you will play a critical role in providing technical and production support for major Alternative Delivery (Design-Build) projects and pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced engineering designs, including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and Temporary Traffic Control details.
  • Develop and create engineering documents, such as Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Reports, and Variation/Exception Reports.
  • Utilize 3D modeling software, including MicroStation/GEOPAK/Open Roads, to create detailed designs and models.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering teams to coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation roadway design.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and/or Open Roads software.
  • Strong knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria, FDM, and Standard Plans.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented team player with ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on limited-access projects.
  • Experience working on alternative delivery/design-build projects.
  • Experience with 3D corridor modeling.
