Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at California State University. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining filing systems.

* Assist with daily tasks, such as picking up and dropping off mail, opening and routing mail and packages, and ensuring the office is stocked with supplies.

* Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

* Develop and maintain relationships with various sub-units and professional staff within the Human Resources department.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.

* Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous office experience.

* High level of confidentiality and discretion.

* Familiarity/fluency with Microsoft Outlook (email and calendars), Word, Excel.

* Demonstrated ability to closely follow written and verbal instructions.

* Demonstrated ability to use good English grammar, spelling, punctuation.

* Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour.
